Volunteer Day at Kamay Botany Bay National Park

FOGA partnered with NPWS for a community day of weed clearing at Kamay Botany Bay National Park. It provided community members with the opportunity to interact with their Member for Parliament and bring their questions and opinions regarding government’s natural restoration strategy in an informal environment while carrying out restoration work in the National Park. Also, it provided the MP with a close view of what we do as an organisation and how Federal government support can further improve the efforts of bush regeneration work.

We aim to involve more community members and other notable public figures in our work to create a stronger sense of community and promote the importance of our restorative works to individuals with the power to contribute and support the cause.
